Chiropractor

Dr. Kheyrani is an Iran native who moved to the U.S. in 2003. She is an alumna of our own George Mason University, where she earned her bachelor of science and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College in Port Orange, FL, in 2021.
Before chiropractic, Dr. Kheyrani worked in the engineering field for six years, and although it was a valuable experience, she knew that was not the career for her. Dr. Arezu’s interest in the medical field developed after being diagnosed with brain cancer, Medulloblastoma. She fought cancer for a year and won the battle. This pivotal and vulnerable time in her life changed her perspective, and she was eager to take her life back and engage in her interest and passion for helping others the way her medical team helped her. Chiropractic care became a concentration of interest after seeking care herself due to unrelenting and disabling migraine headaches. Chiropractic treatment completely resolved these horrible headaches for her, and she wanted to give this back to people who suffer similar pain. Chiropractic added quality to Dr. Arezu’s life, and she realized there was more to the profession other than “cracking backs”. This gave her purpose to pursue chiropractic as a career.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, she takes pride in helping people live fuller and more prosperous lives. Dr. Arezu has extensive experience treating people who suffer tension headache, cluster headache, TMJ, and migraine. She has been focusing for the last year on treating patients who have suffered whiplash injury from automobile accidents and other forms of spinal trauma. Her specialty is neck and spinal injury from not only blunt trauma but also that of chronic postural stress. Dr. Arezu uses spinal traction for both the neck and the lower back, and is certified and licensed in a gentler form of adjusting, called ACTIVATOR TECHNIQUE. For the soft tissue element of spinal injury, Dr. Arezu uses her training in the Graston technique, a specific manual therapy to address scar tissue, as well as mechanical traction. Her moto in life from her own personal experience is to FIGHT FOR YOUR DREAMS.
