Dr. Megan L Reichard, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac is a licensed acupuncturist in the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as the State of Maryland. She is a board certified, Diplomate of Acupuncture under the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Megan graduated in 2013 from the Maryland University of Integrative Health with her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture. Prior to her studies in Oriental Medicine, she studied Biology and Religion at Gettysburg College in her home state of Pennsylvania.
In addition to studying Classical Chinese Medicine in the 5 Element Style, Megan has studied with Dr. Richard Tan and practices his Balance Method. She also has extensive training in NADA – style treatment for behavioral health, addictions, mental health, and disaster/emotional trauma. Additionally, Megan studies Zero Balancing, a mind-body system of hands-on therapy developed by Dr. Fritz Smith, and is currently a candidate for certification.
Megan specializes in aiding the body to heal itself from any kind of pain – physical, mental, and/or spiritual. She believes body, mind, and spirit are woven together in the overall health of an individual. She also believes a good night’s sleep can have immense healing properties and therefore specializes in treating clients with any kind of sleep irregularities.
In her free time, Megan loves to travel, visit amusement parks, collect vintage video games, and spend time outdoors hiking.
